A visit from good friends + gorgeous sunshine + a walk to the beach // these are the makings of an impromptu portrait session.

Andrew and Christina are really cool humans. You know when you get along with someone so well, that it feels like you could talk with them for an endless amount of time? They are those people for my family and me; the conversation never disappoints. Andrew and my husband actually grew up together as neighbors and have stayed friends this whole time. We took a stroll down to the old neighborhood beach, where the tide was nice and low, and it was so warm that none of us even needed a real coat. I repeat, NO COATS. I’m more excited about that than I probably should be. 

Anyways, I’m so thankful for smart, fun, adventurous and talented friends like these.
